Sara and Sam were married in Lake Tahoe, CA, and knew that they wanted their invitation to feature the dock she hung out on as a kid and their beloved dog. Their wedding was in the winter, so we created a snow-covered mountain scene, a pale wintry sky, and their dog gazing out at the lake. The double-sided invitation featured a complete custom illustration and hand-lettered text on the reverse side with the invitation details. We also made a map of the Tahoe area, with illustrations of some of their favorite spots and important places.
