Abstract Series: Invitation & Envelope
The Abstract Series Suites are a combination of my first passion, abstract painting, and the tactile beauty of letterpress printing. The image is a digitally-printed selection from one of my original abstract paintings. Your invitation text is then letterpress printed over the image. Each item is made by hand, one at a time, from my northern California studio.
The invitation is A7 (5”x7”) and printed on a soft white 100% cotton letterpress paper in 110 lb weight in gray ink. It comes with a matching pale dusty pink envelope. Other colors of envelope are available at an additional charge of $30 (please select “Other” in the Envelope Color field below and you will be contacted about envelope color choice and billed separately). All envelopes come with your return address letterpress printed on the back flap, in the same ink color as used on the invitation.
If you’re interested in other customizations not listed below (other ink colors, multiple ink colors, etc.) or other suite items (Save the Dates, belly bands, etc)—please just reach out and I’d be happy to work with you!
Once you place your order you’ll receive a form on which to communicate your invitation wording, return address, and other details. If you have any issues or additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to jessie@shipwrightandco.com. You will receive a digital proof within 3-5 business days before we print your invitations. All orders include 2 rounds of revisions, additional revisions will be billed at $75 each.
Our turnaround time for printing is 2 weeks from when we have all the materials (the plates we use for letterpress printing, any specially-ordered paper or envelopes, etc) for your project in-house.
